WHEN DID YOU STARTED PHOTOGRAPHY
When there is a question of being into photography, I’ll say that each and every person in this world are photographers by any means. In my opinion, photography means capturing things what you see and presenting it through any hard copy. A hard copy might be a mere piece of paper or a painting, or just words which describe the moment captured.
Back the question, so as when did I started photography. as an answer I still remember when I was in a family wedding. I was continuously clicking pictures of my family members through my 2mpx Samsung mobile. and that was my first ever experience of photographing.
HOW DID U STARTED PHOTOGRAPHY
Gradually when i grew up, the urge of photography began to increase inside me. But since i was too young to handle a camera or a video camera in my hand, my father did not allowed me to take stuff anywhere. the urge increased more. i still remember i was in my cousins wedding who had a DSLR. He told me to take pictures from his DSLR, which i was not able to, as i was only comfy with mobile photography. and I felt demotivated that i couldn’t give him pics he wanted.
Well after that, I returned home. I was in my Gym Class where i used to workout a bit in the evening time. Certain guys was discussing about taking photos of GYM while working out, through a DSLR. That was the time when i actually planned to take a camera / DSLR saving half of my salary. and put my legs into a field of Photography
WHICH WAS THE FIRST CAMENRA DID U PURCHASED
Well…. the time I planned to be a photographer, I was earning too less from my simple part time job. so i decided to take a very basic DSLR. I thought of learning first all the options of photography and then step into a professional Camera.
My very first gear is Canon 1300D with 2 kit lenses (18-55mm F3.5 to F5.6 & 55-250mm F3.5 to F5.6).
COULD YOU STATE YOUR EXPERIENCES YOU FOUND WHILE LEARNING CAMERA SETTINGS
There are Many!!
Like the very first one was, I even did not know how to connect a lense to a camera.
Understanding exposure triangle was the major issue. and as i am very weak in reading things, i used to watch videos related to the model which i purchased and understand things.
HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN IN PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD?
Its been 3 years. I started photography as a hobby in the September 2017, during Navratri – An Indian festival. I used to click pictures of people dancing in the Navratri Festival, ask for their Email to mail their pictures. and later after an year, in the next fest i charged an small amount of money from them to take their pictures
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE NOW?
Well my Shooting Charges differs from the way my Client needs Photography. The range differs for 10-20 Portfolio Photos to Wedding and Pre-Wedding Photography.
I generally
YOU CHARGES ARE TOO HIGH… WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU AND WHY NOT THE OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS
Many ways to answer this question. Rather to bore you that we provide this we provide that our services are good.
I would reply to this question in form of a quote by John Ruskin – saying
“It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that’s all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the things you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business prohibits paying a little and getting a lot – it can’t be done. If you deal with a lowest bidder…”
WHO ARE YOUR GREATEST PHOTOGRAPHERS INFLUENCERS
I feel all those who photograph good are my influencers. There is no one in particular.
But yes, if you would ask me who do I refer, i refer Brandon Woelfel and Irene Rudnyk.
WHAT WILL YOU PREFER MALE MODELS / FEMALE MODELS
Female Models…..
I prefer them as they feel safe and comfortable with me. and as photography expressions counts more, when Females feel comfortable they express more.
DO YOU MEET EVERY MODEL IN PERSON FIRST, OR BE HIS / HER BEST FRIEND?
Some photographers mention that they need to get to know their Models / Clients and then they can create good photographers; it was true when i was a beginner.
How ever with my years of experience and easy going approach to photographing people, I don’t need to become best friends with my models / clients before taking amazing photos of them.
Now that I have great people skills so I can make My Models feel the ease, find your real smile, and create great photographs. This is what I do for all strangers every single day.
However, if any one likes to be best friends, they can. It’s totally on them.
